Kotaro Yanagi as Ryoma Echizen
Kotaro Yanagi ( ) is a young Japanese actor who plays in various movies, dramas, and stage events. He's most commonly referred to as "Yanagi", although he sometimes shortens it to "Yana" or "Nagi.". He is also part of a young men's stage acting troupe, D-Boys, which perform in various skit-like performances, and is currently the group's sub-leader.
Yanagi was born on 21 December 1985, in Berlin, Germany however he is ethnically 100% Japanese. Yanagi stayed in Germany until he was 3 years old until he and his family moved to Japan where he attended kindergarten, Yanagi stayed in Japan until the first semester of elementary school, however, due to his father's work, he and his family moved to India. Until third grade, Yanagi stayed with his parents and attended a nearby school. However, from fourth to sixth grade he attended an American boarding school further away, which is where he learned English. Yanagi's family moved back to Japan where he finished school.
He is fluent in both English and Japanese. Yanagi measures approximately 165 cm tall and weighs 53 kg.
ACCIDENT
After leaving a rehearsal for Remarkable 1st Match: Fudomine, less than two weeks before it was due to open, Yanagi was hit by a car. He had extensive damage to his body and vocal cords and was unconscious for two weeks. Doctors predicted he would be bedridden for the rest of his life. After waking up, Yanagi weighed around 30 kg and was unable to get up at all.
However, Yanagi was able to make a miraculous recovery and is currently strong enough to act again, although he had difficulty with his dancing and singing. His recovery time prevented him from playing in Remarkable 1st and the next two Prince of Tennis musicals (in which he was replaced by J-pop singer Kimeru and Yuya Endo, respectively).
He was able to come back for the Side Fudomine musical where he shared the role of Echizen with Endo, but he only acted in stand still scenes while Endo did the dancing and tennis match choreography. He did not appear in the Side Yamabuki musical. After Endo graduated from the musicals after Dream Live 2nd (in which he and Yanagi again shared the role), Yanagi continued playing Echizen for three more shows; although he played the tennis matches, his movements were still slow, and many of the dancing skits he was in had limited choreography so he could keep up with the rest of the cast, and vice versa for them.
Because of his accident, Yanagi wasn't able to join his fellow castmates in the Prince of Tennis live film adaptation. At the same time, the directors wanted to cast someone younger for the role, as Yanagi was 20 years old at the time. Actor Kanata Hongo was cast as the movie's Echizen.
Kimeru, who was close friends with Yanagi, was struck hard by the accident that when he released his third single, OVERLAP (a theme song for the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters), he also dedicated its coupling song, OATH IN THE STORM, to Yanagi.

Eiji Takigawa as Kunimitsu Tezuka
Eiji Takigawa ( ), is Japanese actor, singer, and entertainer. Hailed from Osaka, Takigawa graduated from the law department of Kounan Daigaku (Konan University) at Kobe, before he pursued his career in the entertainment industry.
He made his first big break on 2002, as the official icon of the energy drink, Lipovitan D, along with long-time icon, Kosugi Kane, the son of the legendary martial art actor, Kosugi Shou. The company which produces LipoD feels that Takigawa offers the right aspects for the younger target market for the drink: passion, determination, cheerfulness, youth and intelligence.
He graduated as the Lipovitan D icon on March 29, 2007.
Other work
Takigawa has released a DVD called Treasure of Age (and some sites also call it as 'Treasure of Eiji';) on 2004, which was produced by Marvelous Entertainment.
Eiji reunited with Tenimyu castmates Kimeru, Sota Aoyama, and Naoya Gomoto to appear in the PV of Kimeru's single, TIMELESS, on October 4, 2006. The PV is only on the Type A Limited Edition of the single. There's also a short movie, TIMELESS ~The Movie, that was released on DVD on November 18, 2006.
On TeniMyu Supporters DVD vol. 5 that was released on April 28, 2007, Takigawa appeared along with his first generation Seigaku castmates. He then went on to play the role of Tsukamoto Hidemi on the live-action movie adaptation of the manga series Mousou Shoujo Otaku Kei by Konjou Natsumi.
On January 27, 2008, Takigawa took on the part of Riki in Kamen Rider Kiva, the human form of Dogga, the Frankenstein's monster that assists Kiva in fighting the enemies. Since April 1, 2008, Takigawa's career is being managed by Shochiku Entertainment, the talent, stageplay, and actors' subsidiary of Shochiku.
Yuichi Tsuchiya as Shuichiro Oishi
Yuichi Tsuchiya ( , Tsuchiya Yichi, born February 6, 1979 in Yamanashi Prefecture) is a Japanese actor and full-time member of the 4-man theatre troupe *pnish*. Due to the common romanization of his family name "Tsuchiya" being written as "Tutiya," he has garnered over the years the nickname "Tuti," by which friends and fans by and large call him. He is also best known for his stage roles as Shuichiro Oishi of the Prince of Tennis musical series, Tenimyu, and as Gin Ichimaru in the Rock Musical BLEACH.
Tsuchiya stands 180 cm tall (5' 11";) and weighs 65 kg (143.3 lbs). He grew up in the Minami Alps region of Yamanashi Prefecture, just to the west of Tokyo Prefecture, and is an Aquarius with Type O blood.
Little is known about his family life, other than that he never speaks of his father (it's not known if his parents are divorced, the man died, or was never even in the picture to begin with), but he has a younger sister, and his mother Yumiko runs a beauty parlor back home, where she lives with Tuti's former pet, a toy poodle named "Lala-chan." He is a graduate of Yamanashi Prefectural Koufu First High School.
Tsuchiya has a taste for wine, and is something of a connoiseur--bring up the topic of sake and he is known to talk excitedly about it on end. His favorite wine is red wine, for example, a nice Amarone, while the alcoholic drink that he favors the most is Veuve Clicquot champagne. He's also been a smoker since he was 15 (please note that the age of majority in Japan is 20), and for a long while smoked Salem Pianissimos, a brand quite popular among women. He recently, at the recommendation of fellow actor Shougo Suzuki, switched to Natural American Spirit. His favorite food is curry, and one can often spot him on his blog enjoying a meal at the nearest Coco-ichi Curry, a popular curry restaurant chain in Japan.
Stage
Tuti's career as an actor is primarily that of a stage actor. While he may occasionally do a stint in a drama or cameo in a movie, the majority of his work is done on a stage in front of a huge audience.
As Shuichiro Oishi in The Prince of Tennis Musicals
Tuti's major stage appearance was as Shuichiro Oishi, the motherly vice-captain of Seigaku Middle School's tennis club, as part of the first generation Seigaku cast in "Tenimyu", the Prince of Tennis musical series. During his run of the series, he got to work with fellow *pnish* actor Eiji Moriyama (who played Takeshi Momoshiro). Tuti graduated from his role after the Side Fudomine musical; like many other graduated Tenimyu actors, Tuti got a cameo role in the Prince of Tennis live film adaptation.
Since his graduation, the role of Oishi has been played by Hiroki Suzuki, Yukihiro Takiguchi, and currently by Yuya Toyoda.
Other Work
Since his graduation, Tuti went on to star as Gin Ichimaru in the Rock Musical BLEACH, which also starred some of his old Tenimyu castmates.
Tuti also played a double role in the Hunter x Hunter musical "Hunter x Hunter: Nightmare of Zaoldyeck" in 2002, where he worked with The Prince of Tennis seiy Kaida Yuki and Hiroki Takahashi. He portrayed Zebro, the gatekeeper, as well as a butler.
In June 2007, Tuti celebrated 10 years in the acting world. His first few acts were in 1997 with a traveling theatre troupe, Gekidan Geiyuuza, and after one year with them he formally signed on with popular theatre troupe BQMAP in 1998, when he first appeared in one of their shows in July (26th-30th), "Re-." He continued to perform with them until late 2000.
In early 2000 (concurrent with his involvement with BQMAP), Tuti found himself getting more and more involved with a ragtag group of actor-wannabes that were calling themselves "ShiroxKuro" and that June (15th through 18th) they put on their first performance, "Best Team," following up in February 2001 (1st through 4th) with, "Set a Trap."
On 1 July 2001, ShiroxKuro formally renamed themselves *pnish*, and thus was born a theatre troupe that is now growing and growing in popularity, with ten group performances under their belts, their own radio program (Panic Studio, which will end in June 2008) and their own weekly television show (Hottokenai! *pnish* TV, ch.262 Theatre television via SKY Perfect). Tuti has been with the group from the very beginning, when it was first nine members until it was whittled down to the four it currently is comprised of.

Kimeru as Shusuke Fuji
Kimeru (most often written either in Romaji (Kimeru) or with Katakana (), but has been written as (Hiragana) and () (Kanji)), is a J-pop musician and singer most famous for his work with The Prince of Tennis. Born 17 June 1980 in Kumamoto-ken in Japan, after graduating from high school, he originally became a mailman, but later decided to pursue a career as a singer. He adopted the stage name Kimeru, which means "to decide" in Japanese, before debuting. Kimeru's birth name has never been announced publicly.
2001/2002
On 5 December 2001 Kimeru released his first single, You got game? with Absolute Productions/Birdie House Inc. The song was used as the first ending song for the anime (The Prince of Tennis, commonly called "TeniPuri" or "AniPuri";), which was based on a manga by the same name created by Takeshi Konomi. He followed up this release one year later with Make You Free, which was also used as an opening song for later episodes of TeniPuri.
2003/2004
In the spring of 2003, Kimeru was cast as Shusuke Fuji, the prodigy of Seigaku Middle School's tennis club, in The Prince of Tennis musical production series (commonly called Tenimyu), understudying the lead role of Ryoma Echizen. The rising popularity of the musical brought rising popularity to his music, and on 27 November 2003 Kimeru released his first mini-album, The Beginning. Kimeru would sing You got game? at the end of each show for three of the musicals, and Make You Free for Dream Live 1st.
The end of 2003 also brought tragedy to TeniMyu. Less than two weeks before the second musical of the series, Remarkable 1st Match Fudomine, the lead actor cast for the main role of Echizen, Kotaro Yanagi, was struck by a car and was in critical condition for some months. Because the musical's rehearsals were well underway and performance dates already set, Kimeru had to step up into the role. Takashi Nagayama (who was playing the role of Eiji Kikumaru) took over as Fuji, and Yamazaki Ichitaro (who left the series) came back as Kikumaru. Kimeru was struck so hard by his friend's accident that when he released his third single, OVERLAP (a theme song for the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters), he also dedicated its coupling song, OATH IN THE STORM, to Yanagi. Kimeru returned to his role of Fuji when Yuya Endo was brought in as the new Echizen (Nagayama went back to Kikumaru as well, and Ichitaro permanently left). A small joke about Kimeru playing Echizen was added in Dream Live 1st.
In late April/early May 2004, Kimeru went on his very first tour, OVERLAP. With only three dates (one in Nagoya, Osaka, and Tokyo), it was his stepping stone into real touring as a professional singer. On 25 August 2004 he released his fourth single, Be Shiny, as well as his first DVD with live footage and music videos. To celebrate the release of his new material, he went on another tour in September and November 2004.
2005
At the beginning of 2005, Kimeru graduated out of his role as Fuji in TeniMyu. The role would be carried on by Hiroki Aiba and currently by Yuuta Furukawa. Not losing any steam, Kimeru released his fifth single The Pleasure of Love, as well as toured yet again, adding two new stops to his route (Sendai & Fukuoka). Kimeru's popularity was growing, and on 21 May 2005, he performed in his first seated live house (Shibuya Public Hall in Tokyo). This live was later released on DVD.

Takashi Nagayama as Eiji Kikumaru
Takashi Nagayama (, real name Nagayama Takashi, born 16 November 1978 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese actor. He is probably most well-known for his role as Eiji Kikumaru in The Prince of Tennis musical series, Tenimyu, when he replaced Yamazaki Ichitaro (who played Kikumaru in the very first show), and Tshir Hitsugaya in "Rock Musical Bleach". He made his television debut in 1998 with the drama Change.
Career
As Eiji Kikumaru in The Prince of Tennis Musicals
Takashi's major stage debut was from 2003 to the beginning of 2005 for the role of the acrobatic Eiji Kikumaru in the Prince of Tennis musical series, Tenimyu, as part of the first generation Seigaku cast. When the series came out in 2003, Ichitaro played the role during the spring run of the first show, and Nagayama played the role during the summer run. Afterwards, Takashi was set to permanently take over the role, understudying the role of Shusuke Fuji as well, when Ichitaro left the series.
Less than two weeks before the second show, Remarkable 1st Match Fudomine, Kotaro Yanagi, who was playing the lead role of Ryoma Echizen at the time, was hospitalized due to a car accident. Because of this, there were several changes in the cast for the show: J-pop singer Kimeru, who was playing the role of Fuji, had to step up as Echizen – Nagayama was shifted over to Fuji, and Ichitaro was brought back as Kikumaru. After Yuya Endo was brought in as the new Echizen, Kimeru and Takashi went back to their roles as Fuji and Kikumaru respectively. Takashi graduated with his fellow castmates after the Side Fudomine musical; along with many graduated Tenimyu members, he got a cameo role in the Prince of Tennis live film adaptation.
Since Nagayama's graduation, the role of Kikumaru has been played by Osamu Adachi, Koji Seto, and currently by Kyousuke Hamao.
Other work
Since his graduation, Takashi is currently starring as Tshir Hitsugaya in the Rock Musical BLEACH series, which also stars some of his old Tenimyu castmates.
He maintains an active and popular blog, which he updates several times each week with photos. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, especially baseball, swimming, and karate, and remaking/designing clothing. Above all, Nagayama is earnest and serious about his work and his fans, and this has helped him build and maintain a loyal base of support worldwide.

• He is a long time fan of *pnish*, the 4-man theatre troupe which includes in its ranks fellow TeniMyu and BuriMyu actors Eiji Moriyama and Yuichi Tsuchiya. He has designed a t-shirt for the group, had a birthday message featured in their happy*pnish*birthday4th Memorial Picture Book, and was quoted for coming up with the theme for their On5 performance.
• He has collaborated with fellow Tenimyu and Burimyu actor Yuichi Tsuchiya (Shuichiro Oishi and Gin Ichimaru) to create a shirt and two bags under the brand name "Decossam".
• His fans often refer to him with the nickname "Nagayan", which was bestowed upon him during his TeniMyu days by Kimeru.
• His cameo role in the Prince of Tennis movie was as one of Sasabe's friends in the beginning of the film.
• In September 2007 he teamed up with fellow actor and friend Yuichi Tsuchiya to perform in Aru Hi, Bokura wa Yume no Naka de Deau, co-starring Yuichi Nakamura (D-Boys) and Noriyoshi Tsumura (Modern Swimmers).

Sta Aoyama () is a Japanese male actor. He is most known for his roles as Sadaharu Inui of the first generation Seigaku cast of the Prince of Tennis musical series, Tenimyu, and as Kaito Toma, the human host of Ultraman Max in the 2005 Ultraman Max series.

Yuya Endo as Ryoma Echizen
Yuya Endo () is a Japanese actor and singer. He is known most notably for his role as Ryoma Echizen in the Prince of Tennis musical series, Tenimyu. He is also part of a young men's stage acting troupe, D-Boys, which perform in various skit-like performances, and is currently the group's leader.
The D-boys have also starred in their own drama documentary variety series called, DD-Boys in which Endo has appeared in every episodes as himself because the skits revolve around Endo playing himself with fellow D-Boys member, Kotaro Yanagi also playing himself, as they try to live in the D-house while the other D-Boys drop by. The show was 23 episodes long and ran from 10 April to 25 September 2006.
As Ryoma Echizen in The Prince of Tennis Musicals
Endo was brought into the Prince of Tennis musicals series, Tenimyu, as a replacement for fellow D-Boy member Kotaro Yanagi, who had been injured in a car accident, as the main protagonist Ryoma Echizen. Prior to his casting, J-pop singer Kimeru, who was playing the role of Shusuke Fuji, had filled as Echizen for a show. Endo made his debut as Echizen during the Dream Live 1st concert and would play the role while Yanagi was recovering. He also shared the role of Ryoma with Yanagi after his recovery in two shows: Side Fudomine ~Special Match~ and Dream Live 2nd; Endo did all of the dance and tennis match choreography while Yanagi did stand still scenes due to his injuries. During his run in the musicals, Endo was able to work with other fellow D-Boys members Masaki Kaji, Hiroki Suzuki, Osamu Adachi, Hirofumi Araki, Masato Wada, and former member Yuu Shirota.
On 4 May 2005, after the final performance for the Dream Live 2nd concert, Yuya graduated from his role. Yanagi would carry on as Echizen with the second generation Seigaku cast.
